During the 3rd season of American Idol(year 2003), William Hung was not aware that his American Idol audition would be broadcast until it aired four months later. He was the final audition-er on the January 15, 2004, installment, the coup de grâce of an hour-long episode that showcased other would-be pop stars, mostly lacking in talent. At the end, he gained fame in early 2004 as a result of his off-key audition performance of Ricky Martin’s hit song “She Bangs” on the third season of the television series American Idol. Here comes the 8th season of American Idol. Alright, so what is so special this time? This time they have Katrina Darrell also known as “Bikini Girl”. She is a singer, and model known for her audition on American Idol’s eighth season, She lives in Chino Hills, California, and is a mix of Italian, French, American Indian, and Spanish. Darrell once worked as a Hooters girl. In the episode of American Idol on January 14, 2009, Darrell appeared in a bikini, earning her the “Bikini Girl” nickname. She was eliminated from American Idol on February 4, 2009, yet appeared in the show’s season finale on May 20, 2009 in a vocal throw-down against judge Kara DioGuardi. Well the American Idol season 9 has started. Simon Cowell spotted a new hit. He said live on American Idol that he thinks this song is going to be a Hit. “Looking like a fool with the pants on the ground”. Sounds familiar right? For American Idol’s fan, you will definitely knows this lyric!!! Yea, It’s the hit song by Larry Platt, 62-year-old audition-er rapping his original song “Pants On The Ground.” The lyrics were so catchy, Randy Jackson joined in on the fun after the audition was over –and so did an entire room of auditions. Even though he is not selected for going to Hollywood (age limit is 28), But he deserves an honorable mention as one of Atlanta’s best auditions. So check out the videos below.
