Look at the pretty amazing Urban River! Henk Hofstra created an “urban river” in Drachten, Holland. The Blue Road installation is an example of what mind-blowing urban public art can be. It is located in Drachten, The Netherlands, it features a kilometre of road painted blue and the phrase “Water is Life” written in eight-metre-high letters across it. It’s reminiscent of the waterway that used to be where the road is now.
Besides that, Dutch artist Henk Hofstra also created a 20 car pileup in the middle of Rotterdam’s Ahoy Square, to symbolize the worldwide credit crisis. Nineteen of these cars are painted red – for in-the-red ledge-red debt , with the sole blue car symbolizing the few that are still ding okay.
