1. North Yungas Road- Bolivia = Road of Death

As you can see , the road itself surges up and falls down much like the tides at different places , making it a perfectly safe , yet totally exciting ride .
3. Blue Ridge- USA
The Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina is the place where you can find a roadway whose every inch will be just fine on a picture postcard . The length of the road is 496 miles
4. Columbia George Highway 30, USA
In North America , Described by many as ‘the ultimate drive’ for scenic pleasure , the Columbia George Highway comes very close to dethroning the Blue Ridge Parkway from its spot .

Far too many of these roads are in the US – very America-centric. Please open your eyes and your mind and try to come to the realisation that there is a big world out there. Stelvio Pass, Italy? Armagh Coast Road, Ireland? ‘Romantic Route’, Germany?, anyone?
the picture 8 of transfagarasan road – romania, isn’t a a properly 1, i was there but i never saw that landscape, there are a lot of many great – nice points of overview and the story about Dracula’s castle isn’t realist, it is situate on another nice mountain road. this 1 have about 60 km and link, crossing the charpathian meridional mountains, Transylvania by Valachia. kind regards
