Nick Vujicic: a man with no limbs who teaches people how to get up
Nick Vujicic, 25 years old. He was born without arms or legs and given no medical reason for this condition. Despite the absence of limbs, he is doing surf and swimming, and playing golf and soccer.
Although Nick faced with countless challenges and obstacles, God has given him the strength to surmount what others might call impossible. Along with that, God has placed within him an unquenchable passion to share this same hope and genuine love that he’s personally experienced with more than two million people all over the globe.
Nick graduated from college at the age of 21 with a double major in Accounting and Financial Planning. Due to his faith as an Evangelical Christian, Nick has chosen to remain a virgin until marriage although he has had long-term girlfriends in the past.
‘He’s very modest but he gets marriage proposals from women all the time,’ said Nick’s friend and publicist Steve Appel, from Los Angeles.
Nick began his travels as a motivational speaker, focusing on the topics that today’s teenagers face. He also speaks in the corporate sector, although his aim is to become an international inspirational speaker, in both Christian and non-Christian venues. He regularly travels internationally to speak to Christian congregations, schools, and corporate meetings. He has spoken to over two million people so far, in twelve countries on four continents (Africa, Asia, Australia, and North America).
“I realised why God had made us like this — to give hope to others. It was so inspirational to me that I decided to use my life to encourage other people and give them the courage that the article had given me.â€

“I looked at myself in the mirror and said: ‘You know what the world is right that I have no arms or legs, but they’ll never take away the beauty of my eyes.’ I wanted to concentrate on something good that I had.â€

The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can’t do anything without Him.
